- During the AUX-04 class, prior to publishing your
website, you were given your
web server assigned URL and username. Hopefully
you have written this information
down. If not or if it is lost, contact
Ken Jacobs
for that information.
- The website you started to develop in class is
the same website you will continue to work on as your
post-class website assignment. In class you built
each page using common page formatting which gives your
the website's its structure. You might have even
added some content and images. Now during
post-class, you are to complete your site, adding in
your official content, unit images, and troubleshoot and
validate each page of your website.
- When you think you're finished, check your website
by printing out the "Website Policy Checklist" page
40 in the
CS Guide--that's in section 2.10. Bring up that
page into a browser window and click File
then Print. In the Print Window,
in the Print Range section, choose Current Page,
then OK. This will printout just
that page.
- Now follow the checklist and give your website a
check to assure all current website policy requirements
have been met. If they have, then send your web
instructor an e-mail and ask that your website be
checked. If you can't connect with your instructor send
Ken Jacobs an email.
Contact your web development instructor:
Remember, your website is published to the World Wide
Web, meaning that anyone that knows your URL can see your
work. You are free to share your URL
with others if you like.
Please be prompt with this assignment because these website
addresses are temporary and must be used by the follow-on
class.
If you have questions, please contact your instructor or Ken Jacobs at the above
e-mail addresses.
